Bangkok-based THINKK Studio creates Stamping Chair, crafted from perforated steel sheet as a fusion of creativity and industrial expertise. The chair is the result of a collaboration between the design team and a manufacturing company seeking to enhance its production capabilities. Traditionally focused on manufacturing small steel parts through punching machines, through this project the company explores new avenues and techniques and maximizes its existing machinery guided by the creative studio. The design applies perforated steel sheets, transformed through a corrugated punching pattern into a seat that merges strength and comfort.
